Privacy Policy
About This Policy
Wolf Consulting, LLC (“Wolf Consulting”, “we”, “us”) operates wolfconsulting.com. This policy explains what information we collect through the website, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Wolf Consulting is part of the Lyra Technology Group family of companies.
This policy covers the website.
Information You Give Us
When you submit a form — a contact request, a newsletter signup, a careers enquiry, a resource download, or the announcement banner — we collect what you enter. Depending on the form that may include:
- your name, business email address, company name and phone number;
- company size, and the number of PCs, servers and locations you have;
- how you heard about us;
- your LinkedIn profile URL and résumé (careers enquiries only);
- any message you write.
Information Collected Automatically
As you navigate the site we collect details of your visit, including the pages you view, the page that referred you and traffic data; your approximate location, derived from your IP address; and information about your device and connection, including your IP address, operating system and browser type.
We also collect advertising click identifiers. If you reach the site from a Google ad, the web address carries a code (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) that lets Google connect your visit to the ad you clicked. Where the rules described in section 5 permit it, we record that code on our own server when the request arrives and keep it for up to 90 days, so that a form you submit later in the same visit can be attributed to the ad. We do not record it before you have consented if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, and we do not record it at all if you have opted out or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
How We Use This Information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask about.
- To send you marketing communications you have asked for, such as announcements, event invitations and resources. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages and campaigns are useful, and to improve the site.
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising, including reporting to Google that an enquiry resulted from an ad.
- To protect the site, detect abuse and meet legal obligations.
Advertising And Measurement, And How Your Region Affects It
We apply different rules depending on where you are, because the applicable law differs.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland: we load no analytics or advertising technology, and store no advertising identifier, until you actively accept. The one exception is the call-tracking tool described in section 3, which loads before you choose unless you decline or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. If you do not accept, none of the other tools in section 3 run. If we cannot determine where you are, we apply these stricter rules rather than the ones below.
If you are in the United States: analytics and advertising measurement run by default, and we tell you so through a notice shown when you first arrive. You can turn them off at any time through “Your Privacy Choices”, linked from every page. Your choice is remembered on that browser.
Everywhere: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an instruction to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. We apply it automatically, in every region, without asking you again, and we detect it on our server so that the technologies in section 3 are never loaded in the first place. We honour a Do Not Track signal the same way.
We use Google’s consent mode, which means Google is told whether you consented, including when you did not. When you have not consented, advertising identifiers are redacted from the information sent to Google.
Your Choices
- Privacy choices control. Your Privacy Choices — also labelled “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” — is linked in the footer of every page. It turns analytics and advertising technologies on or off and remembers your decision. It works without JavaScript.
- Global Privacy Control. Enable it in a supporting browser or extension and we will honour it automatically. See section 5.
- Marketing email. Every marketing message has an unsubscribe link. You can also contact us directly.
- Google advertising. You can manage Google’s use of advertising data at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info.
- Browser controls. Cookies can be refused or deleted in your browser settings.
Your Rights If You Are A United States Resident
Depending on your state, you may have the right to: know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it; obtain a copy of it; correct it; delete it; opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of your personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these, contact us at help@wolfconsulting.com or 724-325-2900. We will verify your identity before acting, normally by confirming details we already hold. You may use an authorised agent, in which case we may ask for proof of their authority.
We will respond within 45 days, extendable by a further 45 days where the law allows, and we will tell you if we need the extension.
If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond to your appeal in writing with our reasons. If you are unsatisfied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
Your Rights If You Are In The EEA, The UK Or Switzerland
Our legal bases are: consent for analytics and advertising technologies; legitimate interests for operating and securing the site; contract or legitimate interests for responding to your enquiry; and legal obligation where one applies.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time — withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our service providers operate. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the recipient is certified, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, and then delete it or render it anonymous. In practice:
- advertising click identifiers — 90 days;
- website analytics — up to 14 months;
- form submissions and CRM records — for the duration of our relationship and up to 3 years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law;
- careers applications — up to 12 months.
How We Protect Information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links To Other Sites
The site links to pages we do not operate. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If the changes are significant we will bring them to your attention on the site.
